After long but beautiful Colorado winter I had a whim to create light feathery look for upcoming spring. My color palette was lavender, white and fuchsia. The colors are not as bright as summer ones but still have light, fresh touch in them and remind me of clean slate and new beginnings.
The photographer, David Branson, found beautiful angles and did wonders with natural light. The look, overall became very breathable and alive, but sensitive and shy, like first flowers coming through the earth after tough winter.
In the look below, I dried some flowers and added finely shopped leaves to imitate freckles. I also added some rose petals to the lips, I think that added some texture and accent to them.
In this look, white roses are almost emerging from her body, creating an atmosphere of duality.
Thank you!
