If you are a big fan of all the natural and cruelty-free - this makeup and skincare company is for you.
Have you ever seen how the makeup is done? I mean handcrafted, chemical-free makeup that is easy to wear for every
day. Well, I was very lucky to see it with my own eyes.
I met with Linda
Stein, main creator of Zosimos
Botanicals cosmetics. She invited our team to her home-based office and I
was overwhelmed seeing all that wonderful pigments and colors stored very neat and organized along the shelves.
Linda is so charming! She showed her makeup line that we agreed to use in the photoshoot and
we discussed the
details of makeup looks. She was very kind to make sure I have everything I need for my models, and even created
some pots of makeup in front of me. Linda also gave me a new mascara that is not even on the website yet so I had
exclusive makeup product with me.
Mostly I was impressed by the variety of eyeshadows and their colors and wanted to try them on right there. They
were very rich in color and in a variety of finishes from very shimmering to mostly matte. That’s a perfect
combination for your eye makeup.
So when the day of our beauty photoshoot came, I was ready with a full basket of makeup that Zosimos Cosmetics so
kindly provided! Look at this heaven:
For this photoshoot we had 3 looks and I will describe all the makeup I used on each of my models.
This look is bold and bright, I decided to use three colors of eyeshadows to give eyes dimensions. I put neutral
cream eyeshadows as a base so that mineral eyeshadows stick better to the eyelid.
This look is more neutral and warm in it’s nature but still very beautiful and eye-catching. I used mineral
eyeshadows in a wonderful shade “Avocado” and added a hint of purple “Amethyst” as a eyeliner. It’s a very
combination of colors, try yourself!
I also put tiny bit of gold on the lower lid to highlight the corner and just because I love this color!!
My model looks amazing with this lip color which has the same shade as a lip pencil and this shade is very
All in all this look is very easy to wear and compliments girls with warm skin undertone especially.
Here I played a little with monochrome and selected mostly bronze and gold eyeshadows, the colors that compliments
each other. I also duplicate eyeshadow order on the lower lid and add black eyeliner to create more depth for the
eyes. I first use black pencil and then go over it with cream eyeliner and a brush, I wanna make sure that there is
no skin showing between the lashes and eyeliner.
This look is also very neutral and for every day use, especially flattering for blue/green eyes..
